It’s applicable to all science. It minimizes biases and enables replicable research, leading to groundbreaking discoveries like Einstein's theory of relativity, penicillin, and the structure of DNA. We use it regularly, sometimes knowingly in academics or research, and sometimes subconsciously in our daily lives.
