Study the locations of these American states from the Mexican Cessation: Map Study Guide – The Middle East Section 4 IDs/Short Answer: 3 IDs (10pts each) As usual, you will have to write a long paragraph (or two) for approx. 1+ page long on a small bluebook explaining the ID thoroughly. Think of this as a mini-essay. As you write your paragraph (and make sure you write a paragraph and NOT A LIST!): Who – who are the major players (individuals or groups) What – What is this event? What happened? Explain in detail. Where – Where did this happen (region or cities)? When – When did this happen (sometimes year(s) or specific date(s) are needed for when this happened; sometimes an event was larger and you can mention “during Washington’s presidency”) Why – Why was this event important to history? What was its significance? (Hint: Studying for these will also help you prepare for the multiple-choice, so don’t think of it as a wasted effort if you study for IDs that you don’t get on the exam) - Berlin Blockade - Great Society - Watergate Scandal - Triangular Diplomacy - Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan - MiG-25 vs. F-15 Development
