TASK PREPARATION: Students should review the vocabulary and language structures for UNIT 1. - Greetings, introducing yourself, giving your nationality, giving your age, your birthday - Describing yourself - Say if you have brothers, sisters - Say what you like/ not like and give reasons - Talk about someone in the family or a friend Students should be able to write about themselves and someone else (eg. a brother, sister or friend) Students should practise using the following tools/strategies: - Create flashcards with key vocabulary and sentences in French - Use Education Perfect to revise vocabulary and listen to recordings - Use Sentence builder tables to create a variety of sentences (use a mini whiteboard to write them) Learning intentions: Learn to greet people in French at different times of the day Learn to introduce yourself in French and ask for names Task 1. You might also need to write someone’s name. How would you ask and reply?
