What did I discover in the research? Creative content: Competing companies employ a strategy of gaining customer trust in their company. Competitors' websites are filled with informative content to enrich the user experience. They offer substantial information in the cybersecurity domain to educate and instill a sense of security (showcasing their expertise). Another method to build customer confidence in the product is by providing recommendations. Design: When examining competitors' designs, recurring patterns can be observed. These include using cold colors, slightly outdated technological images, and moving video backgrounds. It is clear that all the competitors studied resemble each other. So, what did I do in my design? Creative content: When it comes to content, it's important to compare our content with that of our competitors in the market. This involves providing customers with comprehensive knowledge that instills a sense of security. We will accomplish this through articles, information about our product, blog posts, webinars, recommendations, and more. Design: Regarding the design, I needed to make a statement among the competition without completely disconnecting from the tech world. I decided on a color scheme of blue and purple but added a pop of bright green/turquoise to make it stand out in a technology-centric environment. When it comes to visuals, I focused on creating three-dimensional and abstract images based on the company logo to differentiate ourselves from the outdated images used by our competitors.
