Chapter 5: Reservation
- No guarantee of reservation is provided.
- Passengers need a valid ticket or pass.
- Advance reservation periods are 120 days (excluding journey day) for general passengers, 365 days (excluding journey day) for foreign tourists.
- Prescribed reservation forms (COM 744F) must be used.
- Names of passengers under 5 years old must be in a specific column.
- Maximum 6 passengers can be booked per form.
- Medical and senior citizen concessions must be specified.
- Up-gradation requests must be noted.
- Reservations are on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
